This course is for anyone who wants to learn about Administering Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003 in a variety of stand-alone and network environments. The course content covers the information that will be needed to help you to prepare for the two certification exams: • 70-270 - Install, Configure & Administer Windows XP Professional • 70-290 - Manage & Maintain a Windows 2003 Server Environment Both exams provide credit towards the Microsoft MCSE and MCSA certifications The training starts with the basics, including how to install Windows XP Professional and Server 2003 using a number of different procedures, including the Remote Installation Service. You will also learn how to manage and troubleshoot User Accounts, back-up and implement disaster recovery procedures and the features of remote management and the benefits of Terminal Services.
